Join our 2-hour cookie decorating class at Cookies By Sheila in Visalia, CA, where beginners and cookie enthusiasts can learn the basics of sugar cookie decorating! We’ll dive into royal icing techniques, explore strategic decorating tips, and discuss dough and icing fundamentals. All materials are provided, so all you need to bring is your smile (and maybe an apron)! ABOUT THE CLASS Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class is designed to help you create a delightful set of 5 themed cookies. Whether you’ve struggled with royal icing, want to try something new, or are just looking for a fun activity with friends or family, this class is for you. We provide everything—cookies, icing, sprinkles, and even a box to carry home your creations. No baking or icing prep is needed. Just come ready to decorate and have fun! Each class accommodates up to 12 participants, ensuring plenty of interaction and time for questions. Suitable for ages 10 and up, this class is great for families or solo participants. Prefer a kid-free experience? Consider purchasing an add-on kit to decorate at home! FAQs: What happens during the class? You’ll learn cookie decorating basics, including royal icing techniques like marbling, outlining, and brush embroidery. You’ll leave with beautifully decorated cookies to take home. Do I need baking skills? Not at all! Pre-made cookies and icing are provided, so you can focus on decorating. Can I buy an extra take-home kit? Yes! Add-on kits are available for purchase and include everything you need to decorate cookies at home. What should I bring? We provide all materials. You may want to bring an apron, glasses if needed, and your phone to capture the fun! Can my child attend alone? Children under 16 must attend with a ticketed parent. Teens 16 and older can attend on their own. What do I take home? You’ll take home a set of cookies (sealed for freshness), plus a basic sugar cookie and royal icing recipe emailed to you after class. Can’t make it? Life happens! Cancel up to 7 days before the class for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days receive a class kit to take home instead.
